About Chris
Royal was born in Kokomo, Indiana and moved to Springfield, Missouri as a kid, where he worked in his family's restaurant. He earned a philosophy degree from Missouri State, then served in the U.S. Army before settling in South Texas. He's run for the District 34 seat before, losing to Vicente Gonzalez and Mayra Flores in 2022, and is running again on a Libertarian platform of balanced federal budgets.

Eric FloresHe's an Army veteran and former federal prosecutor who beat Mayra Flores (no relation) by more than 30 points in the GOP primary.

He's running with Donald Trump's endorsement, focused on border security, veterans, and Second Amendment rights.
Vicente Gonzalez Jr.He's a South Texas lawyer-turned-congressman who once ran a title insurance company before winning his House seat.
About Vicente
Gonzalez has represented South Texas in Congress since 2017, first in the old District 15 and now District 34. He co-chairs the moderate Blue Dog Coalition and is known for breaking with his own party on border and energy votes tied to his Rio Grande Valley district. He's running for reelection after Texas Republicans redrew his district to be more competitive.
