About Everett
Jackson is a Dallas-area small business owner and community organizer who studied data processing at Amarillo College and had never held office before entering politics. After an unsuccessful 2025 run for DeSoto City Council, he won the Republican nomination for Texas's heavily Democratic 30th Congressional District (Jasmine Crockett's old Dallas-area seat) by beating Sholdon Daniels in a May 2026 primary runoff, campaigning on job growth, border security against cartels, and making DOGE spending cuts permanent.

He decided to run for Congress after testifying against the Texas GOP's 2025 redistricting push, and jumped into the race after his own pastor-turned-congresswoman, Jasmine Crockett, gave up the seat to run for U.S. Senate and endorsed him to succeed her. He's campaigning on Medicare for All, abolishing ICE, and getting dark money out of politics.
