Before running for Congress, Jake Ellzey flew fighter jets off aircraft carriers for the Navy and later became a commercial airline pilot.
About Jake
Ellzey was raised in Perryton, Texas, and spent 20 years in the Navy flying combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan before entering politics. He briefly served in the Texas House in 2021, then won a special election to Congress that same year after Rep. Ron Wright died in office. He is now seeking a third full term representing the district that stretches from the Fort Worth area down toward the coast.

He holds a zoology degree from the University of Oklahoma and has spent decades working alongside physicians and patients in the healthcare industry. He lives in Arlington with his wife, a veterinarian, and their two sons, and is running to make healthcare and everyday life more affordable for Texas families.
