About John
Carter served as a Williamson County judge before winning his U.S. House seat in 2002 and has held it ever since, making him one of the longest-serving members of the Texas delegation. He won re-nomination in the 2026 GOP primary with 60% of the vote in a crowded field that included the man known as the 'ShamWow Guy.' He is running for a twelfth term as a strong ally of President Trump's agenda.

Justin EarlyJustin Early grew up in a two-Army-parent household, enlisted himself as a paratrooper at Fort Bragg, then worked Pentagon cybersecurity in the aftermath of 9/11.

Early is a Georgetown resident and Cybersecurity Architect at Dell Technologies who has been active in Democratic Party politics for years, including as a Tarrant County precinct chair and a 2008 Obama campaign delegate. He and his wife Toni have seven adult children. He beat Stuart Whitlow in the March 2026 Democratic primary to challenge longtime incumbent John Carter.
