Mike Michna is a 20-plus-year Houston firefighter and Marine Corps veteran who deployed to Iraq in 2003. He's the son of a police chief and a preacher, and he's running for Texas House District 134 on a message of public safety, property tax relief, and bringing what he calls a service-first mindset to government.
