Before he was a state lawmaker, Mitch Little was one of Ken Paxton's defense attorneys at his 2023 impeachment trial, personally grilling the whistleblowers who accused Paxton of abusing his office.
About Mitch
Little grew up to become a Harvard-educated attorney and 20-year partner at a Frisco law firm. After helping win Paxton's acquittal, he used Paxton's backing to unseat a sitting Republican state representative in 2024, then went on to beat Detrick Deburr in the general election. He's running for a second term representing Denton County's District 65.

About Detrick
Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Deburr moved to Denton County and built a career as a senior software engineer while volunteering on the Cedar Hill and then The Colony planning and zoning commissions. He's a published author and serves on the board of St. Philips School and Community Center. After losing to Mitch Little in 2024, he's running again in 2026 on affordable housing and groceries, fully funded public schools, and more accountable state leadership.
