Who Roger is
Before he was a congressman, Roger Williams was a minor-league baseball player in the Atlanta Braves' farm system until an injury ended his career.
About Roger
A Fort Worth native who played baseball at TCU and was drafted by the Braves in 1971, Williams came home to run his family's car dealership, founded by his father in 1939, after his baseball career ended. He served as Texas Secretary of State from 2004 to 2007 and has represented TX-25 in Congress since 2013, where he now chairs the House Small Business Committee.

About Dione
A Fort Worth native who graduated from Southwest High School and Texas Wesleyan University, Sims founded the nonprofit Unity Unlimited in 2000 to engage local youth and has worked alongside her grandmother producing Fort Worth's Juneteenth celebrations for years. In 2026 she's running for Congress in the heavily Republican TX-25 district, saying she wants to protect people's freedoms and make sure families can afford healthcare, wages, and education.
