Your State Representative is one of 150 people who write Texas law, and yours is elected to represent your area of Hays County. Every two years they decide how much money your kids' school gets, whether your property tax bill goes up or down, and whether Texas takes federal money for health care or turns it away. About Yvonne
A Dallas businesswoman with a degree from the University of Houston, Davis has served House District 111 since 1992, covering parts of Dallas, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Grand Prairie. She currently sits on the House State Affairs Committee and has previously served on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence, Criminal Jurisprudence, and as vice chair of Redistricting and Ways and Means. She's running for re-election in 2026.
