About Angie
Carraway grew up in a military family and earned her degree from the University of North Texas before becoming a public-school teacher. She's now running for Texas House District 89 on a platform of protecting public schools from voucher money, raising teacher pay, and helping working families keep up with rising costs.
Candy NobleCandy Noble is a former educator who, before running for office, was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas Juvenile Justice Board.
About Candy
Noble, a more than 30-year resident of Collin County who lives in Lucas with her husband Robert, first won her House District 89 seat in 2018 and is now seeking a fifth term. In the legislature she's built a record as a reliable conservative vote, co-authoring the state's near-total abortion ban, backing the 2025 private-school voucher program, and helping pass border-enforcement laws.
