Sell is a Lubbock attorney and businessman who worked in Congress in the late 1990s and early 2000s as deputy staff director for the House Agriculture Committee under former Rep. Larry Combest. He's running to replace retiring Rep. Jodey Arrington, focusing his campaign on agriculture, trade deals for cotton growers, and the Farm Bill.
